European University in Egypt


Our task was to develop a logo, guidelines and the corporate identity for the European University in Egypt. The utmost aim was to make the DNA of the university and its faculties coherent. It was important that it reflects the European and the Egyptian culture. The European Universities in Egypt (EUE) is offering transnational education by bringing together reputable international universities to create a unique hub in the MENA region.



Logo Concept

Using something as simple as a line can have several and endless combination or variety through that variety it can convey different meanings, concepts and themes.

Horizontal lines suggests a feeling of rest or repose.

Vertical lines communicate a feeling of loftiness and spirituality.

Horizontal and vertical lines in combination communicate stability and solidity. Rectilinear forms stay put in relation to gravity, and are not likely to tip over. This stability suggests permanence, reliability and safety. The lines seem to imply stability to the point of stodginess. In addition, using both lines can creat a sense of equilibrium between the two concepts.

Brand Guidelines

A Style Guide is a set of rules that create a unified identity when connecting multiple elements within your brand, such as colors, your logo, and your typography.

When a brand’s identity is consistently displayed, cohesive, it increases the brand’s perceived value. Consistency allows your brand to appear more professional and reliable. By implementing brand guidelines, you make it easier to maintain the quality and integrity of your brand.
